The first diving watch Bremont ever produced was the 43mm Supermarine 500 which was introduced back in 2009. Co-Founders Nick and Giles English had wanted to build a robust but beautifully engineered diving watch that was very practical in design, but also tied into the brand’s strong aviation heritage.

Bremont focuses purely on beautifully made mechanical movements and every watch in our core collection has passed each of the rigorous precision tests necessary for the ISO 3159 chronometer designation. Every movement is finished to the highest levels of craftsmanship and all are guaranteed to within -4 and +6 seconds per day. For this reason Bremont is one of the few watch makers to offer at least a 3-year warranty on every timepiece.

Proudly made in the UK
Great Britain has a wonderful history when it comes to watch making and has probably been the home to more advances in horology than any other nation. Bremont is determined to play a pivotal role in the reinvigoration of this industry on British shores and as a result, Bremont manufactures parts at its Parts Manufacturing Facility. Every Bremont is hand built and tested before leaving the Henley-on-Thames workshop.
Description
The first diving watch Bremont ever produced was the 43mm Supermarine 500 which was introduced back in 2009. Co-Founders Nick and Giles English had wanted to build a robust but beautifully engineered diving watch that was very practical in design, but also tied into the brand’s strong aviation heritage. The watch had to also hold its own against any other mechanical professional diving watch in terms of engineering, design and price point. The range was named as a tribute to the brothers’ love of the iconic British aircraft manufacturer responsible for the Supermarine S6B Schneider Trophy Seaplane and of course the incredible Supermarine Spitfire.

Stainless steel screw-in and decorated case back. Please note that all our dive watches have screw in case backs for added protection against water entry, this means that any decoration on them may appear at any angle.

Ruthlessly tested above and below the waves
The watches' namesake derives from the 1930's aircraft company, Supermarine, whose first ever Spitfire prototype, the Type 300, led to one of Britains most iconic aircraft.
Burnt Orange GMT
The burnt orange GMT hand beautifully complements the 24-hour markers seen around the watch's dial ring and the colour applied indexes which use the company's iconic 'P-51' Super LumiNova.
Uni-directional bezel
The new model incorporates a uni-directional ceramic rotating bezel and is manufactured using Bremont's Trip-Tick three-piece case construction, housing a beautifully finished and chronometer-tested movement.
Supermarine Seaplane
Turning the watch over reveals a closed case back with an etching of the Supermarine Seaplane, a nod to the watches' namesake, the 1930's aircraft company, Supermarine, whose first ever Spitfire prototype (the Type 300) led to one of Britains most iconic aircraft.
Trip-tick case construction
The iconic Trip-Tick 3-piece case design provides durability and distinctive aesthetics from a scratch resistant, DLC treated barrel.
